The Parents Guide Spring 2010

The Parents Guide is a free of charge independently produced and financed quarterly publication that offers Essex parents, information, advice and articles.

Mama packs has been featured in the Spring edition out on April 19th 2010 and has also offered readers of the publication 5 Mama Packs in a competition. If you would like to get your hands on one of the packs then either read the issue online [by clicking the photo] or grab your copy at participating outlets!

Mama Packs were featured in the Echo Woman section of Southend-on-Sea’s edition of the Echo. A lovely big section!

Mama Pack & WAHM featured in the December 2008 edition of The Green Parent magazine where we gave away a HUGE goodie box full of products from our samplers and wahms..

A back copy of The Green Parent Magazine also features in every Mama Pack. A fantastic way for ethical magazines to re-cycle their back issues instead of chucking them in the shredder, and a fab way for magazines to introduce themselves to new readers!

Mama Packers Yzzy, Sanji and Kya-Amber at The Baby Show March 1st 2009. We met some awesome people and had a lot of interest in the packs, quite a few people wanting to distribute them like 3d scanners and independant midwives and

a lot of yummy products from people wanting to sample in the packs! couldn’t miss me, I was the one with the flame cropped hair… but don’t bank on that being the same next time you see me.. I’m feeling a ‘blue’ phase coming on….

THIS WAS BEFORE WE LEARNED ABOUT CLARION AND THEIR ARMS FAIRS AND WE NOW REFUSE TO EXHIBIT OR VISIT ANY CLARION SHOW.

We will next be at the Natural & Organic Products Europe April 5th 2009 looking for yummy things to go into our packs…. especially interested in finding baby toiletries and aroma oils for labour/pregnancy.

The Mama Pack ladies will also be running walking in the Race for Life on 31st may 2009. It would be fab if we could beat our sponsor goal of £100 and a big thank you to all those who have already sponsored us!

UPDATE: Between us we managed to raise in the region of £300!!  Thank you!!

12 year old Ellora managed to run the race despite it being around 23′C !!  Yzzy didn’t die half way round as she first feared… well I mean who goes running in crocs, 2 T-shirts and NO water!! We then had a massive water fight afterwards to ‘cool off’.

Sanji ran the 5k in a fantastic 38 minutes way to go that Goddess! …. Here is a photo of Yzzy, Sanji, Ellora and Brendan taken after the race! Look at our shiny medals!!
