On agreement that you / your organisation are to become Mama Pack distributors we ask that the following terms are read and adhered to:

1] Packs are not to be repackaged, re-branded or altered in any way. This includes removal, alteration or covering of the Mama Pack logo label, removal, alteration or covering of the bar code & distribute by label.

2] The contents of the pack are checked and sealed at Mama Pack offices and should not be compromised, added to or deducted from under ANY circumstances.

3] The packs are issued as ‘try before you buy’ sample packs and should not be resold. Distributors are permitted to charge a maximum handling fee from clients/customers of £1.00 or shipping costs but they MUST make this plain for customers to see that all charges are set by them and what the charges are for.

4] Packs should to be stored somewhere dry, free from cooking aromas, chemical fumes, smoke and livestock. The ambient temperature should not exceed 23′C or drop below 2′C as this will affect the stability of the products and also have an adverse effect on the packaging.

5] All packs bare a ‘Distribute by’ date on the swing tags. The date is set approx 3 days before the earliest product use by date contained in the pack.

6] All references and links to distributors will be removed 8 weeks after the latest distribute by date on the last shipment if further orders are not placed. This means, if the latest distribute by date on your shipment is 1st January 2010 and you do not place another order by the 26th February 2010 then your advertising with Mama Packs & related websites or publications will cease until a new order has been placed.

7] Distributors are vetted before distribution rights are granted. This right only remains while the ethos of the distributor remains. Mama Pack reserve the right to revoke distribution rights should they feel this ethos is not upheld.

8] Distributors will have their logo placed on the ‘Get a Pack’  page of this website. Logos and link destinations should be provided to us otherwise our designers will use logos from your business website and link to your homepage. The same applies for the design of pack labels bearing your business logo.

9] Mama Pack will attempt to keep distributors located no closer than 10 miles. However, where there is a large enough service difference this may be reviewed. This means, if there is a Cloth Nappy store and an Independent Midwife within 10 miles of each other interested in distributing, it would be deemed by Mama Pack that the services are sufficiently individual for the two distributors to co-exist.

10] The agreement to distribute is between Mama Packs and the name on the distribution order under the section ‘Contact name’ and the business named under the section ‘Company Name’. Distribution license is granted only to those names. Distributors are not permitted to ’sub license’ without an agreement between all parties.

This means: If an agreement has been reached between ‘Example Company’ and Mama Packs, ‘Example Company’ are NOT permitted to send a batch of packs to be handed out to ‘Example Company b’ unless Mama Packs has agreed to sub distribution.

11] If you really do not agree with one of our samples and would rather your packs do not contain them could you please let us know at the time of ordering that you can not / will not accept a sample from a certain company then we can discuss it further from there. We would also be interested in knowing your issues because it may involve something we have overlooked.

Although we are not Vegan or Vegetarian guaranteed so consider this before you order your packs.

12] Please note that unless there is a serious FAULT in our packs we will not refund as charges are only for shipping, packaging, man [or woman] power. Clearly once you have your packs the packeging is done, the people power has been used and the shipping has been fulfilled!

Please note the terms above are set to protect Mama Packs, Distributors and the end customer with our insurance. If any of the terms are broken this would force liability onto the distributor and invalidate any liability on behalf of Mama Packs, it’s employees or Mama Pack Sample Companies.
