i would also like to comment about induction. i was induced at 12 days past EDD. I know the EDD was accurate and it was my first and i wasnt confident enough to wait. I was induced on mothers day (14 march) then NOTHING happened until 1am on 16th march my waters broke. i started contractions and was sleeping between them but when i got up to get my stuff ready to go to the labour ward they stopped. i got the drip at 5pm and he was born at 9:59am 17 March! I will never ever ever have another induction! i will be having a water birth next time, potentially (more than likely) a home birth as well

I spend 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with my baby. I have never left him once (he will be 5 months old tomorrow) I co sleep with him, we go to bed together, he naps on me. The only time i spend away from him is if i am showering (and his dad is with him but sometimes he is in the door bouncer on the bathroom door and i play peek a boo with the shower curtain) or if his dad is with him while i make dinner or do house work or go to the loo lol So maybe 23 hours a day physically with him. The rest is with daddy lol

Hello! We have a Fathers pack which we will be rolling out in Autumn of 2010! Sad thing is very few companies provide ethical, organic or natural products for men …. If you have any ideas let us know, or let the companies know we are looking!

What else would I like to see in the Mama’s pack? Actually, stuff for dads. There ought to be a dads’ pack equivalent. Stuff about sex after birth (or lack of!) would be good for a start.

In reference to the ‘what would you like to see in Mama Packs?’ I would have liked to have had some advice and a sample of what to line my cloth nappies with. While I had already agreed to use cloth it wasn’t until my 4th nappy was ruined with meconium that I thought how on EARTH do you stop the poo from clinging to the nappy? I was then told “nappy liner” but then ended up with so many choices and types. So a leaflet with perhaps a disposable bio liner and a silk one etc wrapped in it would have been amazingly helpful.
By the way the Mama Pack was amazing!
